Yogurt-based trifles are my favorite to make since they are so easy to assemble and can be super nourishing. You can create endless trifle variations using different seasonal ingredients and flavors. For fall, I created this Apple Yogurt Trifle with protein-rich Greek yogurt, hand-picked red apples, and roasted apple-cranberry granola. Instead of just using plain yogurt, I mixed creamy peanut butter, cinnamon and vanilla for a flavor boost. It is a perfect breakfast or snack option filled with fiber, healthy fats, and protein. The creamy Greek yogurt, juicy apples along with the crunchy granola all provide the best texture experience as well. Check out the recipe!
Apple Yogurt Trifle Recipe

Cook Time: None
Total Time: 10 minutes

1/2 cup plain yogurt (Greek yogurt for more protein)
2 tbsp. Granola ( I used Nuthouse apple-cranberry granola)
1/2 small red apple, diced
1 tbsp. creamy peanut butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract
Drizzle of preferred sweetener like honey or maple syrup
1/2 tsp. cinnamon powder
Combine the yogurt, peanut butter, cinnamon, vanilla, and sweetener. Stir till all ingredients are combined well.
Layer all ingredients into a serving glass: yogurt mix, chopped apple, and granola.
For dairy-free version, you can use plain dairy free yogurt options.
If you have a gluten allergy, selecting certified gluten-free oats would be a better option.
