Many families have their favorite way of making chai and this is ours.  Filled with flavors like warm spices & honey, this chai recipe will fill your heart with comfort this season. Warm milk is heated with chai, cinnamon sticks, cardamon pods, and raw manuka honey.  The aromatics drift you away into a fall or winter dreamland.  Especially during the chillier months, I love using honey and natural spices since they can be great options to naturally support our immune system during cold and flu season.  Honey comes with benefits like anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-bacterial properties while cinnamon has been linked to containing anti-viral properties. Honey has also been used as a natural remedy to help sooth coughs.  This chai can be both a perfect afternoon pick-me-up and a warm hug in a mug to help you get through your day.
